Phytex Paint 25ml is used to treat fungal and Candia(yeast) of the skin and nails. This include athlete's foot, an infection caused by fungi starting between the toes but might spread over the underside of the foot. Phytex Paint 25ml contains a combination of ingredients which provide a total salicylate content of 1.45% w/v. Tannic aicd and Boric acid are used to prevent fungal or bacterial growth. Salicyclic acid has antifungal effects and helps penetration of the ingredients into the nail and skin. Methyl Salicylate may ease any irritation of the skin.

Phytex should be painted onto the affected areas using the brush provided. Use morning and evening and after washing, and allow to dry. Use only on the nails or feet. Do not use on broken skin. Fungal infections are often difficult to eradicate and may take several weeks of treatment. Consult your doctor, pharmacist or chiropodist who will advise you about the length of treatment necessary.

Adults and children over 5 years: Apply twice daily. Continue two to three weeks after apparent cure

Phytex is for the nails and skin only. It should not be swallowed. Phytex may stain clothing, carpets, baths, etc. When applying Phytex it is recommended that you cover clothing and surfaces. It is very unlikely that Phytex will cause any unwanted side effects. A slight stinging may occur on application but this will not last long, or it may cause some dryness of the skin.
