People ask me what is the difference between a cold and ‘flu? ‘Flu comes on very quickly and is usually accompanied by a high temperature, persistant cough and general debility. A cold has a slower onset and usually involves congestion in the nose with or without a cough.

Omega -3 Fatty Acids are Essential fatty acids are, as the name suggests, essential for our bodies and they must be obtained from food or supplements. Fish oil is a good source of two omega-3 fatty acids known as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Sardines, salmon and mackeral are three good sources in our food. Flax oil contains alpha linoleic acid and flaxseeds can be a useful source of the fresh oil but must be ground down to release the nutrients for digestion. (more…)

It is characterised by a yellow mark in front of the retina which gradually results in a deterioration in eyesight.
